# Sangakkara's 82 is the highest individual innings for Deccan against Pune, surpassing the 78 off 46 balls by Cameron White at Pune on April 26, 2012.

# Sangakkara, during the course of his 10th fifty in the IPL, has completed 1500 runs in the IPL overall - 1532 runs at an average of 30.03 in 56 matches.

# Shikhar Dhawan (13) took his run-aggregate in the IPL 5 to 266 at an average of 33.25 in eight matches - the most by a Deccan Chargers' batsman. The next two in the list are White (215) and Sangakkara (165).

# Parthiv Patel has been dismissed off the first ball of the match.

# For the second time in the IPL, he has been dismissed off the first ball of the match - the first instance being for Chennai against Rajasthan at Jaipur on May 4, 2008.

# Brendon McCullum and Parthiv Patel are the only two batsmen to be got out off the first ball of the match twice in the IPL.

# Parthiv Patel is the first recognised batsman to be dismissed without scoring seven times in the IPL.

# The aforesaid partnership is Deccan Chargers' highest for any wicket, bettering the 155 (unbroken) for the first wicket between Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman against Mumbai Indians at Mumbai on April 27, 2008.

# Overall, five century stands have been recorded for Deccan Chargers in the IPL.

# The 157-run stand is the highest third wicket partnership in the history of the IPL - the third best overall for any wicket - the best is 206 for the second wicket between Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh for Punjab against Bangalore at Dharamsala on May 17, 2011.

# The previous highest third wicket stand in the IPL was 152 between Murali Vijay and Albie Morkel for Chennai against Rajasthan at Chennai on April 3, 2010.

# The above partnership is now the highest for any wicket by any pair against Pune Warriors in the IPL.

# The 157-run third wicket stand is the highest for any wicket in the IPL 2012.

# Sourav Ganguly (45) has recorded his highest innings for Pune Warriors in the IPL.

# Thanks to his aforesaid innings, Ganguly, for the first time, has touched a batting average of 20.00 for Pune in the IPL - 245 runs at an average of 20.41 in 14 matches.

# Robin Uthappa has become the first Pune batsman to manage 300 runs in the IPL 5 - 305 at an average of33.88 in ten matches.

# Steven Smith's 47 not out is his highest score for Pune in the IPL 5.

Propelled by Rohit Sharma’s magnificent double-century, India marched to a 153-run win in Kolkata. While Eden Gardens celebrated 150 years, Rohit lit-up the stadium with a well paced 264 off 173 to make the occasion memorable.
