A fantastic win by RR at home tonight, First of all Rahane with a superb innings of 98. The bowlers then came out and showed Dravid he has a real team of talent this year, Kevon Cooper looks to be an absolute steal at $50,000. 11* in 3 balls, 4 wickets, 2 catches and a run out!

  • Dravid: "A fantastic night for us, a great way to start the tournament with our young players doing well, it's great to see Rahane get a big score, we have seem him playing so well in the nets so he deserves it. It was also lovely to see Kevon Cooper producing such a performance on his opening game."
  • Gilchrist: "I think we ran it out well to the end, we were outplayed and in hindsight I probably got the toss wrong. Rahane played a beautiful innings and they just got 30 runs too many. There were some positives out here tonight and even though we have plenty to work on we won't take this too hard, we will get back to work and all credit to Rajasthan Royals."
